Save as PDF/A and check a PDF

An archive copy that meets PDF/A, and a check against the standards.

Where to find it

FileSave as PDF/A, and Check on the pull-up bar

Steps

  1. Open File › Save as PDF/A.

  2. Pick the part, then Save and name the copy.

    Save as PDF/A: PDF/A-2b, 2u, 3b or 4

  3. Fluah checks the copy it wrote, then opens it.

    The copy written and checked: PDF/A-2b Passed, its claim PDF/A-2b

  4. To check any PDF, click Check on the pull-up bar.

  5. Pick PDF/A-2b, PDF/E-1 or PDF/UA-2, then Check.

    Check, PDF/A-2b: Passed

  6. Issues show their clause. Set language and the like fix them; then Save.
