Measure an area

Room areas, less any openings, and a volume from a depth.

Where to find it

Area & perimeter Area (polygon)

Steps

  1. Pick Area & perimeter (A) and drag from corner to corner.

    An area on the boardroom: 38.8 m², as its room tag says

  2. For any other shape, pick Area (polygon) (G). Click each corner, then press Enter.

    An area (polygon) on the kitchen: 60.2 m²

  3. To leave a part out, right-click the area › Add cut-out / opening.

  4. Click the opening's corners, then press Enter.

    The kitchen less its island bench: 56.6 m²

  5. For a volume, type a Depth in its Properties.

    Properties: Depth 2700 and the Volume it gives
