Draw lines, arrows and arcs

Straight, pointed or curved, with the ends you want.

Line

Steps

  1. Pick a tool in the toolbar.

  2. Line L: drag. Hold Shift to keep it level or plumb.

  3. Arrow W: drag from the tail to the tip.

  4. Arc arrow ShiftW: click the start, the end, then a point on the curve.

  5. For an arc with no head, Tools › Arc, or press ShiftC. Click the same three points.

  6. To change the ends, click the line and pick them in Ends.

    The end list open under Ends in Properties: None, Open arrow, Solid arrow and Dot
