Switch between metric and imperial

Steps

  1. Open Settings › Markup. Under Units & scale, pick Imperial or Metric.

  2. The scale changes to one of that system's.

    SCALE 1/4" = 1'-0" on the status bar

  3. Set the drawing's scale again: pick one, or type the ratio.

  4. Lengths read in feet and inches, areas in SF.

    Grid 1 to grid 2 reads 26'-3"
